Kong 3 plays on a 5×3 grid with 20 paylines. Nothing fancy in the base game layout, but dont let that fool you – this slot packs a serious punch with its features!
The regular symbols include the usual card values (10-A) that nobody gets excited about, plus higher-value themed symbols like helicopters, tanks, buildings, and Kong himself as the highest paying symbol. Land 5 Kongs on a payline and your looking at a nice 25x payout.
What makes the base game interesting is the random Kong modifiers that can trigger on any spin:
- Kong Respins – Kong appears and holds certain symbols in place while everything else respins, kinda like a mini sticky respin feature
- Kong Wilds – The big ape smashes the reels and adds between 3-8 wild symbols in random positions
- Kong Upgrade – All lower-value symbols transform into higher-value ones for that spin
- Kong Multiplier – A random multiplier between 2x and 10x gets applied to your next win
I hit the Kong Wilds feature quite a few times during my testing session, and it saved me from some serious dry spells. The Kong Multiplier is the one you really want though – managed to get a 8x multiplier that turned a mediocre win into something worth getting excited about!
Free Spins and Bonus Features
This is where Kong 3 really shines! There's three different bonus games you can trigger:
1. Kong Free Spins
Land 3 bonus symbols to get 10 free spins with enhanced Kong modifiers. During this feature, the modifiers happen much more frequently, and you can retrigger for extra spins. Solid but pretty standard stuff.
2. Kong Bigger Bonus
This is triggered when you land 4 bonus symbols. You get to play a board game-style feature where you roll dice to move around the board collecting multipliers, extra lives, and other goodies. You can collect some decent wins here, usually around 50-100x your bet if your lucky.
3. Kong Even Bigger Bonus
This is the main event! Land 5 bonus symbols to trigger this monster feature. It works similar to the Bigger Bonus but starts you on a more lucrative section of the board with bigger multipliers and special positions. This feature has serious potential – during my testing I only triggered it once but walked away with about 380x my bet.

My Thoughts About This Slot Game
After putting Kong 3 through its paces, I'm definitely impressed with what Blueprint has done here. The base game is decent enough with those random Kong modifiers keeping things interesting, but the real star of the show is the Even Bigger Bonus feature.
The game is seriously volatile though – be prepared for long stretches of nothing much happening followed by potentially massive wins if you trigger one of the better features. My bankroll went on a wild roller coaster during testing!
