Review of Divine Queen: Power of Sun (New Game)

Introduction to Divine Queen: Power of Sun

Pros

Cons

What first caught my eye when I loaded the game was its similarity to Gates of Olympus. BGaming released Divine Queen: Power of Sun, and it’s had players talking since it dropped on October 1, 2026. The theme throws you into an alternate-universe Egypt vibe with a futuristic twist. Think golden queen ruling over a desert empire under a blazing sun, with cosmic rings and planets floating about. It’s a visual treat, with a rich purple-and-gold color palette that screams luxury.

Now, let’s be honest from my own time playing this: Divine Queen is genuinely fun, but it doesn’t take a genius to spot that it’s basically Gates of Olympus and Sugar Rush smooshed together into one game. You’ve got the scatter pays mechanic, and refilling cascades straight outta Sugar Rush, combined with cell multipliers that work almost identically to how Gates of Olympus handles its multiplier symbols. If you’re a regular slot player like me, you’ll clock the similarities within about 10 spins.

So yeah – is it the most original slot you’ll play this year? Not even close. But with Cell Multipliers climbing to x128 and an average RTP, there’s enough here to keep you spinning, even if you’ve got a strong sense of déjà vu the whole time. Let’s get into how it all actually plays out!

My max win was quite high $3806.80 during one of my sessions (screenshot is further down), and with four times winning 10 extra spins with total of 50 free spins, not bad!

How to Win at Divine Queen: Power of Sun: Buy & Ante Bet Tips & Strategy

How to Win at Wonders of Aztec: Buy & Ante Bet Tips & Strategy

Wonders of Aztec gives you three Special Bets — Ante Bet, Super Spin 1, and Super Spin 2 — plus two Buy Feature options for a guaranteed round. Each one comes with a slightly different RTP, so picking the right one depends on whether you're chasing frequency, power, or a straight-up guaranteed trigger.

Ante Bet & Super Spins — raise your bet for better natural odds

Ante Bet — 5x your bet. Gives you a 16x higher chance of triggering Free Spins naturally. RTP: 96.51%.
Super Spin 1 — 10x your bet. Guarantees a Bomb Multiplier symbol lands on your base spin. RTP: 96.52%.
Super Spin 2 — 300x your bet. Bombs land with increased multiplier values when they do appear. RTP: 96.51%.

Ante Bet is the clear value pick of the three — for 5x your stake, that 16x jump in bonus frequency is a genuinely huge improvement over the base 1 in 408.50 trigger rate. Super Spin 1 and 2 don't actually improve your odds of reaching Free Spins at all, they just guarantee or boost bomb activity within a single base spin, so treat them as a different kind of bet entirely rather than a bonus-hunting tool.

Buy Feature — guarantee Free Spins right now

Free Spins — 100x your bet. Drops you straight into the standard Free Spins round. RTP: 96.55%, matching the base game's own top RTP.
Super Free Spins — 500x your bet. Starts the round with a random number of Bomb Multipliers already active on the grid before your first spin. RTP: 96.49%.

Standard Free Spins at 100x is actually the best RTP of every Special Bet or Buy Feature option on this list, so it's a solid pick if you just want to skip the wait without sacrificing return. Super Free Spins at 500x costs a lot more, but that head start on the reel multipliers gives you a real shot at the bigger end of the paytable rather than building from scratch.

Which one should you actually use?

If you're settling in for a longer session and want more natural bonus rounds without committing to a full buy-in, Ante Bet is the smarter move — you're still relying on a genuine trigger, just with far better odds. If you want the bonus guaranteed immediately, Free Spins at 100x carries the strongest RTP of the direct buy options, while Super Free Spins at 500x is worth the extra cost specifically if you want those Bomb Multipliers pre-loaded rather than hoping they land in time.

Strategy tips that actually help

With Free Spins landing naturally around 1 in 408.50 spins, Ante Bet is worth switching on early if you're planning a proper session rather than a quick 50 spins.
Super Spin 1 and 2 boost what happens within a single spin, not your odds of reaching the bonus — don't confuse them with a bonus-hunting strategy.
Standard Free Spins (100x) is the better value buy-in if RTP is your priority; Super Free Spins (500x) is better if you specifically want the guaranteed head-start multipliers.
Use the Session Calculator above to see how far your balance stretches at your chosen bet size before deciding whether Ante Bet or a straight buy-in fits your budget better.
None of these options carry a real mathematical edge over base play — every RTP here sits within a fraction of a percent of the base 96.55%, so pick based on the session you want, not because one looks like a better deal.
