The game itself is simple. You get a retro 3×3 grid with 5 paylines, a golden Garuda watching over the reels, and a 4th Special Reel on the right that shows multipliers up to x500. How to Win at Fortune Garuda 500: Buy & Ante Bet Tips & Strategy

Fortune Garuda 500 has no Bonus Buy and no free spins round, so there is nothing to buy your way into. What you get instead is two Extra Bet options (this game's version of an Ante Bet). Both raise your cost per spin and change which multipliers can show up on the Special Reel, and you can switch between them and normal play after any spin, as long as Autoplay is off.

Extra Bet — pay more per spin for bigger multipliers

Extra Bet 1 — 1.5x your bet. The Special Reel multiplier starts at x3 or higher (x1 and x2 are removed), and bigger multipliers become more likely. Ex Nudge and Ex Nudge Wild can reach up to x500.
Extra Bet 2 — 8x your bet. The Special Reel multiplier starts at x15 or higher (x1, x2, x3, x5 and x10 are removed), and bigger multipliers become more likely. Ex Nudge and Ex Nudge Wild start at x5 and can reach up to x500.

Extra Bet 1 is the gentle option: you pay 50% more per spin and the two weakest multipliers disappear. Extra Bet 2 is a much bigger step. At 8x per spin your balance lasts one eighth as long, but every Special Reel multiplier is at least x15, and any Ex Nudge starts at x5 instead of the usual x2. Neither option guarantees a win, and a win is not guaranteed to cover the extra cost, so you are still betting that your spins land well before your credits run out.

No Bonus Buy — the nudges are the feature

The game's big moments come from Ex Nudge and Ex Nudge Wild. When one lands on a winning spin, the Special Reel nudges down and collects multipliers, and they are added together and applied to your line win. That only happens on a win, which is why a longer session at a comfortable bet can matter more than an expensive Extra Bet.

Which one should you actually use?

If you want the longest session, play the standard bet. The game has a 97.1% RTP and low volatility, so you already get frequent smaller wins without paying extra. If you want bigger nudges, Extra Bet 1 is the more practical upgrade. In my own sessions I did better with Extra Bet 1 than Extra Bet 2, mostly because it costs so much less per spin. That let me raise my base bet and still make my balance last. Extra Bet 2 drained my credits much faster. It has the stronger Special Reel, but it is for a bigger budget, and a few sessions is not proof that one pays better than the other.

Strategy tips that actually help

Work out your budget in spins, not credits. At a 1.00 base bet, 100 credits gives you 100 standard spins, about 66 with Extra Bet 1, and only about 12 with Extra Bet 2.
Compare the options at the same cost per spin, not the same base bet. Extra Bet 1 at a higher base bet can give you a similar minimum win to Extra Bet 2 at a lower one, while costing less to run.
You can switch Extra Bet on or off after any spin, so you do not have to commit for the whole session. Autoplay has to be off to change it.
