Wheel of Happiness Game Review (Upcoming 2025 Slot Demo).
Introduction to Wheel of Happiness
So Pragmatic Play dropped another Asian themed slot called Wheel of Happiness, and honestly? It's one of those games that doesn't really wow you but doesn't disappoint you either. I've been spinning slots for over 15 years now, and this one feels like Pragmatic just went through their checklist of what an Asian slot needs – dragons, turtles, lions, some gold coins – and called it a day. The graphics are nice enough with that rotating pattern in the background, but nothing made me go “wow” when I first loaded it up. It's got that familiar feel if you've played any Pragmatic Asian slots before.
The game's theme is Dragons, Animals, Asian, and it comes with features like Bonus Games, Free Spins, Tumbling, Wilds with Multipliers, Buy Bonus or Ante bet, Wheel of Happines.
You can now play the free slot by simply clicking the demo game above and start playing

Gameplay and Special Features of Wheel of Happiness
Alright, so here's how this thing works: you have got your standard 5 reels with 3 rows, but it uses 243 ways to win, which I always prefer over paylines. The cool part is that it has a tumble feature, so when you hit a win, those symbols disappear, and new ones drop down. Sometimes you get a nice chain going and rack up multiple wins in one spin, which is always satisfying.
The betting range goes from €0.20 up to €240, so there's something for everyone, whether you're a casual player or a high roller. They also threw in this ante bet option that costs 50% more but supposedly gives you better chances at triggering the bonus wheel – I tried it a few times and honestly couldn't tell if it made much difference.
Now the symbols are your typical Asian slot fare. You've got the low-paying card symbols (9, 10, J, Q, K, A) and then the premium symbols with the fish, turtle, lion, and dragon. The dragon pays the best at 5x your stake for five of a kind. Wild symbols only show up on reels 2, 3, and 4 during regular spins, which is kind of limiting, but they do help complete wins.
The real action happens when you land 3 scatter symbols because that triggers the Wheel of Happiness feature. Instead of just giving you free spins straight away, you get to spin this wheel that decides what bonus you get. I actually really like this mechanic because it adds some suspense – you're sitting there hoping it lands on the better options.
Free Spins and Bonus Features
The bonus wheel is where things get interesting. When you hit those 3 scatters, the wheel spins and can land on four different things:
Wild Wins – This clears the grid and drops between 2 and 7 wilds on your next spin, guaranteeing at least one win. It's decent but nothing crazy.
Wild Wins+ – Same as above, but you also get a random multiplier between x2 and x10 applied to your wins. This is where you can start seeing some nice payouts.
Free Spins – You get anywhere from 6 to 25 free spins. The amount is random, so sometimes you feel lucky, sometimes not so much.
Free Spins+ – This is the one you really want. You get the 6 to 25 free spins PLUS a multiplier between x2 and x10 that applies to every single win during the round.
During the free spins, wilds also appear on the 5th reel, which helps a ton. And here's where it gets good – if you land 3 more scatters during free spins, you spin the wheel again. If you already have a multiplier going and hit Free Spins+ again, the multipliers multiply eachother. I managed to get this once and had an x20 multiplier going, which was pretty sweet.
The free spins can retrigger, too, giving you 3 to 20 additional spins. In my longest session, I ended up with like 40+ spins total after a couple of retriggers.
If your impatient, theres a buy feature for 70x your bet. I tried it a couple times – sometimes it paid off, sometimes I just burned through money quick. The RTP is 96.47% which is pretty standard, though there are lower versions out there so check before you play.

Useful Information About Wheel of Happiness
Here's the technical stuff you should know:
- RTP: 96.47% (but some casinos might have the 95.47% or 94.46% versions)
- Volatility: High – so expect some dry spells between big hits
- Max Win: 4,000x your stake
- Hit Frequency: You'll hit something about 1 in every 4 spins, but free spins only trigger around 1 in 200 spins
- Released: January 8th, 2026
The high volatility definitely shows. I had sessions where I went through 100+ spins without triggering the bonus, then other times I'd hit it twice within 50 spins. That's just how high variance slots work though.
My Thoughts About This Demo Game™
Look, I'm gonna be straight with you – Wheel of Happiness is a pretty average slot. After playing it for a few hours, I'd give it about a 6.5/10. It's not bad, but theres nothing that makes it stand out from the dozens of other Asian-themed slots out there.
The good stuff: The tumble mechanic keeps the base game from being too boring, and the bonus wheel adds some excitement when you finally trigger it. When you get lucky with the Free Spins+ and high multipliers, you can see some really nice wins. I hit a 850x win once with a x7 multiplier during free spins which was cool.
The not so good stuff: The 4,000x max win is pretty limited compared to alot of newer slots that offer 10,000x or even 20,000x. The base game can be really grindy – I found myself just clicking through waiting for those scatters to land. And honestly, the whole theme feels like it's beene a million times before. Nothing about the visuals or sounds really grabbed me.
If your into Asian-themed slots and like Pragmatic Play's style, you might enjoy this one. But if your looking for something innovative or super exciting, you'll probably want to skip it. It's the kind of game I'd play if I'm bored and want something familiar, but it's not gonna be in my regular rotation. The math model is solid enough that you can win, but don't expect any life-changing payouts with that 4,000x cap.
Overall? It's fine. Just fine. Nothing more, nothing less.
