I’ll be honest: I’m a big fan of the Pirots series. These games are some of the most fun slots I’ve played, and Pirots 5 is no different. That said, as someone who’s played the series a lot, I found this one a little less engaging than Pirots 3 and 4. Those earlier games just had something special. Maybe it’s because the Egyptian theme feels more familiar than the wild settings before, or maybe it’s something I can’t quite put my finger on, but Pirots 5 didn’t stand out as much for me.

But don't let that put you off. This is still a top slot by any measure, and for anyone new to the series it will almost certainly blow you away. ELK Studios has gone bigger here — a 6×6 grid that expands to 8×8, nine collectable tokens spread across three worlds, new trap mechanics, catacombs, portals, and the return of the villainous Captain Blackfeather. There's a staggering amount going on, yet somehow ELK has packaged it all so it never feels to much. If you enjoy feature-driven slots with real personality, Pirots 5 is a must-try.
