Sugar Rush Super Scatter Game Review (New Free Slot Demo).
Introduction to Sugar Rush Super Scatter
Alright, fasten your seatbelts. Pragmatic Play has done it again, they've taken one of their most popular slots and given it the “Super Scatter” treatment. Sugar Rush Super Scatter just dropped in February 2026, and as someone who's been spinning slots for over 15 years, I gotta say the Sugar Rush series has always been one of my absolute favorites. Theres something addicting about watching those multipliers stack up on every position where you get a win. This new version takes everything that made the original great and cranks it up to eleven with a massive 50,000x max win potential. The game looks almost identical to Sugar Rush 1000 with all those colorful gummy bears and candies, but don't let that fool you – this thing packs way more punch than the earlier versions.

Gameplay and Special Features of Sugar Rush Super Scatter
Sugar Rush Super Scatter runs on a 7×7 grid using cluster pays, which means you need atleast 5 matching symbols touching each other to win. The tumble mechanic is back, so winning symbols explode and new ones drop down, potentially creating chain reactions of wins. I've had sessions where a single spin turned into 10+ tumbles, and that's when things get really exciting.
The betting range goes from €0.20 up to €240 per spin, so it works for pretty much any bankroll. The RTP sits at 96.58% which is solid, though as always there are lower versions out there (95.53% and 94.52%) so make sure to check what your casino is running.
The symbols are split into low and high payers – you've got three different colored gummy bears and four types of candies. Landing a small cluster of 5 matching symbols pays between 0.2x to 1x your bet, but if you manage to connect 15 or more symbols together, you can win anywhere from 20x up to 150x depending on the symbol. The dragon gummy bear is the best one, paying 150x for a massive cluster.
Now here's where Sugar Rush Super Scatter really shines – the multiplier spots. Every time a symbol explodes from a win, it leaves behind a highlighted position on the grid. If another symbol explodes on that same spot, you get a x2 multiplier. Keep hitting the same position and the multiplier doubles each time – x2, x4, x8, x16, x32, x64, x128, x256, x512, and maxing out at x1,024. In the base game these multipliers reset after your tumble sequence ends, but during free spins they stick around for the entire feature which is where the real magic happens.
What makes this version different from regular Sugar Rush is the addition of Super Scatter symbols. These special scatters can land anywhere on the reels, and landing 1, 2, 3, or 4 of them (combined with regular scatters to get atleast 3 total) pays instant cash prizes of 100x, 500x, 5,000x, or a massive 50,000x your bet. Yeah, you read that right – four Super Scatters gives you the max win instantly, no free spins needed.
The game also has some special bet options if you want to change up the gameplay:
- Ante Bet (5x stake) – Makes it 10 times more likely to trigger free spins by adding more scatters to the reels. I used this quite a bit and it definitely helps you hit the bonus more often, though it eats through your balance faster.
- Super Spin 1 (10x stake) – At the start of every spin, random positions get starting multipliers between x2 and x128. This is pretty cool because you can start building on already high multipliers.
- Super Spin 2 (250x stake) – This is the crazy expensive one. Every single position on the grid starts with a x32 multiplier at the beginning of each spin. I only tried this a couple times because it's insanely expensive, but when you hit a good cascade it can lead to some absolutely ridiculous wins.
Free Spins and Bonus Features
Free spins trigger when you land 3 or more scatter symbols (regular or Super Scatters combined). You get 10, 12, 15, 20, or 30 spins depending on whether you land 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7 scatters. The feature can retrigger too, awarding another 10 to 30 spins if you land more scatters during the bonus.
The big difference between base game and free spins is that all multiplier positions stay active for the entire feature. This is absolutely huge because once you start building up multipliers in different spots, they just keep growing with every tumble. I had one bonus round where I ended up with six different positions at x128 or higher by the end, and even small cluster wins were paying hundreds of times my bet.
If multiple multiplier positions are part of the same win, they add together before applying to your payout. So if you have a x64 multiplier and a x128 multiplier both involved in the same cluster, that's a combined x192 multiplier on that win. This is how the game reaches those insane max win numbers.
There are also two bonus buy options:
- Buy Free Spins (100x bet) – Guarantees you atleast 10 free spins with 3+ scatters. Pretty standard bonus buy, and the one I used most when I was testing the feature.
- Buy Super Free Spins (500x bet) – Same as regular free spins but every position on the grid starts with a x2 multiplier already in place. This is expensive but gives you a massive headstart on building those

What Other Websites Say About Sugar Rush Super Scatter
Those who have reviewed it say it's a good game, but it's very similar to the previous version.
Useful Information About Sugar Rush Super Scatter
The very high volatility is no joke. I've gone through 200+ spins without hitting the bonus multiple times, which can drain your bankroll pretty quick. But when the bonus does hit and you get lucky with multiplier placements, you can win back everything and then some in a single feature.
My Thoughts About This Demo Game™
Alright, so after spending quite a bit of time with Sugar Rush Super Scatter, here's my honest take
What I loved:
The multiplier system is what I love the most and is still the best part of any Sugar Rush game. Watching those multipliers build up during free spins, especially when you get multiple high value positions going at once, creates this amazing excitement where every tumble could be a massive win. I had one bonus where I built up a x512 multiplier in one spot and a x256 in another, and when I finally landed a big cluster hitting both positions, it paid over 2,000x my bet. Those are the moments that make this slot so addictive.
The addition of Super Scatter symbols is brilliant. Knowing that landing 4 of them instantly gives you the 50,000x max win adds a whole new layer of excitement. Even landing just 1 or 2 Super Scatters during the bonus gives you a nice instant cash boost on top of your feature wins.
The 50,000x max win is absolutely massive – way higher than the original Sugar Rush or even Sugar Rush 1000. This puts it in the same league as some of the biggest paying slots out there.
What could be better:
The special bet options are stupidly expensive. Super Spin 2 at 250x your bet is just not realistic for most players unless your rolling with a huge bankroll. Even Super Spin 1 at 10x feels steep when your already dealing with high volatility.
The base game can be brutally dry. Going 300+ spins without a bonus trigger isn't fun, even with the occasional decent tumble wins. The Ante Bet helps with this, but then your burning through 5x your normal stake.
At 1 in 10 million odds for the max win, landing that 50,000x is basically a pipe dream for most of us. The Super Scatter feature is cool, but realistically your chances of getting 4 Super Scatters are astronomical.
The visuals and theme are getting a bit repetitive at this point. Pragmatic has released so many versions of Sugar Rush now that it's starting to feel like they're just milking the franchise. I would've liked to see something more creative than just adding Super Scatters to the existing formula.
Bottom line:
If your a fan of the Sugar Rush series like I am, you'll probably enjoy Sugar Rush Super Scatter. It takes everything that works about these games – the sticky multipliers, the explosive tumbles, the satisfying progression during free spins – and amps up the win potential to an insane degree. The Super Scatter mechanic adds genuine excitement, and that 50,000x carrot dangling overhead makes every spin feel like it could be life-changing.
But be warned: this is a high volatility beast that will test your patience and your bankroll. You need to go into this prepared for long dry spells and willing to grind through hundreds of dead spins to get to the good stuff. If you can handle that, and if you've got the budget to weather the swings, Sugar Rush Super Scatter can deliver some truly spectacular wins. Just don't expect to hit that max win – focus on enjoying those multiplier-stacked bonus rounds and the occasional Super Scatter hit, and you'll have a good time with this one.
It's not the most original slot Pragmatic has ever made, but it doesn't need to be. It's Sugar Rush with more power, more potential, and more ways to win big. Sometimes that's exactly what you want.
I' will rate this slot a solid 8.5/10 – will I play again? yes 100%
